Memory Aid Sheets
The following are downloadable pdf's which you may download on your computer for creating your own memory aids to assist you in hiding God's Word in your heart. Presently the verses are formatted in the NIV & NKJV versions of the Holy Bible and, as they are not being sold or in any way traded for commercial gain, and are less than 600 verses in the total package, I have been assured by the publisher that no copyright is being infringed.
Once you have downloaded the files onto your computer, the sheets are uniform in dimension so you may copy first the front sheet (i.e., the fully printed text). Next, reinsert the newly printed sheet into your printer and properly position for printing the reverse side. Once the paper is properly positioned, print the "first letter only side-002". The finished product will be a 2-sided memory aid, full text on one side and first letter-version of the same text on the reverse. Repeat this process to create as many memory sheets as you desire. With a paper cutter, you can cut the sheets down to within approximately 1/4 inch of the colored border, which will make the sheets of a size you can easily clip onto the back inside of your journal.
For extra durability, you can have your sheets laminated at a Kinko's, CopyXpress, or similar Insta Print store. I use a small binder clip to secure the sheets I'm working on in the back inside cover of my journal. It usually takes me about a month to really root and establish a passage in my heart and mind. Even though I can memorize a passage much more quickly, I spend the extra weeks of reflection and meditating on the passage while rehearsing it in my mind in order to get it into my long term memory.
