Team Hoyt: A Picture of Grace
This  is  a  video,  accompanied by music,  of the illustration I have   frequently   used   over   the   years  in  illustrating  the Philippians 2:12ff. mystery of God's grace and our effort. Our effort looks like something we initiate from our perspective; but in fact, it is God our Father who is at work in us both to do and to accomplish His good pleasure. In this life long journey in Christ, our part in the disciplines of grace is more like young Ricky Hoyt-- we are along for the ride, waving our hand in the victory salute as Jesus takes us across the finish line.
